Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and The Bookish.

Top Ten Books On My Summer TBR list.

I can’t wait for summer! I don’t have any plans for summer holidays yet (except that I’ll have a summer job in an OFFICE which is horrible if it weren’t for the books and shoes and clothes I’ll buy with the money ☺) but I do know which books I’m gonna read. So, in no particular order:

GeographyOfYouAndMe

1. The Geography of You and Me by Jennifer E. Smith

I know I’m kind of late with reading this book but I’m really looking forward to reading this one. So when I saw the book on Netgalley a few days book I just knew it was the perfect opportunity to start the book. Yay!

WhatIThoughtWasTrue

2. What I Thought Was True by Huntley Fitzpatrick

Do you really need any explanation after My Life Next Door?

WeWereLiars

3. We Were Liars by E. Lockhart

There’s been a lot of hype around this book amongst book bloggers recently which is why I actually feel like I’m the last person on earth who hasn’t read the book yet. Tell you what? I’m so gonna read this book when I’m on summer break.

OnTheFence

4. On The Fence by Kasie West

I love love love love love all books that Kasie West has written!! I especially loved The Distance Between Us so I just can’t wait till On The Fence releases!! (And yes, I’m really jealous of all of you guys out there who got the chance to read the book already. Seriously, I could kill for this book).

WinnersCurse

5.  The Winner’s Curse by Marie Rutkoski

There have been SO MANY positive reviews about this book ever since it’s been released! The book has been sitting on my shelf since that time but I can’t wait to start reading it. Also, doesn’t the book just look so pretty? I can’t stop staring at it!

Frozen

6. Frozen by Erin Bowman

I fell totally in love with Taken, the first book in the series, which is why I can’t wait to put my hands on Frozen, the sequel to it. (Yes, the picture depicts the German edition of Frozen.)

ToAllTheBoys

7. To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before by Jenny Han

So many people enjoyed this book which is why I’m really excited to start reading it. Also, I remember reading The Summer I Turned Pretty by Jenny Han a few years back which was definitely a nice read. Notice that this is the 5th YA contemporary book on my list. Yeah. Summer 2014 is definitely the ultimate YA contemporary season.

Unendlich

8. Unendlich by Alana Falk

Well, this is actually a paranormal book by a German author which I got as a review copy today. I’ve only read one book by the author so far but I really liked the author’s style of writing so yay ☺

ThePossibilityOfUs

9.  The Possibility of Us by Lisa Burstein

This is probably the only NA title I have on my list but I really like Lisa Burstein’s books. Her books often deal with tough issues in a way so I believe The Possibility of Us will be a bit darker than the other book I’ve got on my list.

FaultInOurStars

10. The Fault In Our Stars by John Green

I know. Please don’t hit me. I know I’m ages behind reading it but I never really got the chance to do so. But since the movie will hit movie theaters in Germany next month (at least in my movie theater) I’ll read The Fault In Our Stars in preparation of the movie.

So that’s actually my personal Top Ten. What books do you have on your summer TBR list? Let me know in the comments or send me the links to your own post!

    • Haha, a lot of people have told me that. I’m actually just reading it because of the movie which will come out in Germany next month; I just never really got the chance to get my own copy of the book. But that will change in a bit 😀

  2. I really loved We Were Liars! You should definitely check out the book, it’s amazing! Frozen wasn’t bad either; its actually even better than the first book.
I totally get what you mean with the ultimate YA comtemporary season. Same goes for me as well. I’m planning to read My Life Next Door by Huntley Fitzpatrick (yah, I know, shame on me :3 ) since i haven’t read it yet.

    • You HAVE TO read My Life Next Door. Seriously, the book is so heartwarming!
And, yes, i know. It’s so strange this year, especially since a lot of good contemporary books have been released recently. But on the other hand, when I think of summer, I also think of beach reads. And for me, beach reads are ALWAYS YA contemporaries!
